How it Works

Solar PV generates energy through UV light. 


This is achieved through the photovoltaic effect where certain materials generate an electric current when exposed to UV light. The electricity generated is in the form of direct current (DC).

Direct current (DC) is changed to Alternating current (AC) through by inverter. 


The direct current is changed to alternating current through a hybrid inverter. This electrical energy can then be used (load) or stored in a battery storage system. 

Battery storage supply used when required.

 

The energy generated and stored in a battery storage system can be used as needed—either to supplement solar power when it's being produced or to supply energy during periods of low sunlight. In the case of a power outage, the battery system can continue to power essential appliances. These capabilities help reduce a consumer's dependence on the electricity grid.
